Add first property
The most important first step. Without the first property, you won't see bookings or other follow-up dates.
Open the manualGet and insert iCal
If you use Airbnb or another OTA calendar, prepare an iCal URL and connect the first booking source.
How iCal worksCheck profile
After logging in for the first time, it makes sense to check your name, phone, language and other basic account information.
Edit profileWhat you will see on the dashboard
- section Overview
- initial block to set up the first property
- option Import from Airbnb calendar
- option Automatic email forwarding
- option Create property manually
How to proceed step by step
Step 1
Stay in the Overview section
After logging in, stay in this initial block. It's the fastest way to set up your first working property.
The Overview section is also where you can quickly see your account status and next recommended steps.
Step 2
Know what you will deal with now and what later
For the initial setup, you mainly need two parts: Real estate and Reservations.
In Real estate, you set up the first property and the related data needed for the system to work. In Reservations, each reservation includes a link to the guest form and the submitted guest data.
You do not need to handle Reports, Fees to the municipality, Imports, iCal export or Settings during the very first start.
Step 3
Choose the appropriate connection method at the beginning
In the beginning, it makes sense to count mainly on the following two options:
- iCal connection is a convenient first step to quickly launch and retrieve basic booking data
- automatic email forwarding is best handled after iCal, because it lets the application work with more data and pre-fill part of the information for you
In practice, this means: first connect the calendar, and only then add email forwarding as another layer.
Step 4
Proceed directly to the next practical step
Don't try to solve everything at once after the first login. The first practical article should always be about creating the first property and connecting the first data source.
